Pick a chain with locations along your route and a single membership that works everywhere. You get a hot shower, a bathroom, somewhere to charge devices, and a workout if you want one.
Campgrounds
Many state and county campgrounds sell day-use access or shower tokens even if you’re not staying. Ask at the kiosk.
Beaches
Rinse stations at most public beaches are free and cold. Good enough for salt and sweat.
Skipped nights
